1999 Peugeot 206

The 206 is one of Peugeot's more popular models, with a wide range of body styles, trim levels and engine choices. Its design has changed little since its launch in 1999, although new derivatives such as the 206 CC Cabriolet joined the line-up in 2001. There are various petrol engines in the range, although after 2006, the local offerings had decreased. The standard five-door hatchback can be had with a 1.4-litre or a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine with either a manual or an automatic. The 206 CC coupe-cabriolet can only be had as a 1.6-litre automatic in the later years, although the manual 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre CC models were available here for a few years in between. There is a more powerful 2.0-litre engine with a manual offered in three-door RC hatchback form, which is a true sporting contender.
