Overview
An all-new model of Nissan Altima was revealed for 2019. The sixth generation model features an upgraded 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine, but the V6 has been replaced with a 2.0-litre turbocharged motor. Both engines are connected to a CVT automatic and front-wheel-drive platform. The platform itself has gained wheelbase length, which translates to more cabin space. The 2022 Altima will be offered in a range of trim levels – S, SV and SL in the 2.5L and SV, SL grades in 2.0L Turbo, although not all trims may be offered in all GCC markets. Available new features include upgraded seats with added bolstering, an updated infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as an 8-inch multi-touch colour display, blind-spot monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning and High Beam Assist, aside from the usual smart keyless entry and start, full set of airbags, ESP, tyre-pressure monitor, the usual power...
