Overview
The Jaguar XK received a face-lift for 2012. The XK Coupe and Convertible are powered by a 5.0-litre V8 direct-injection engine, while a supercharged version of the same V8 powers the high-performance XKR. That too can be had in either coupe or convertible format. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. An even more powerful XKR-S was released in 2012 with the same supercharged 5.0-litre engine but producing even more horsepower. Changes include a new wider front grille, enlarged vents in the lower grille with chrome accents, LED daytime running lights and slightly thinner headlamps. Its rigid chassis and CATS adaptive suspension aim for a smooth ride and sporty cornering.
