2008 GMC Yukon

GM went all out on the redesign of this full-size hauler even though petrol prices are at an all-time high. The Yukon gets many upgrades, including a new platform and a better-designed interior. A beefy Vortec 5.3-litre V8 powers the Yukon, with better fuel economy to boot. It still had the aging 4-speed automatic though. The V8 powers the rear wheels on the road, or through all four wheels when the standard 4WD system is engaged. Features include power windows, electric mirrors and additional power equipment, along with a folding third-row seat. Power-adjustable brake and accelerator pedals are standard on the higher models and optional on the base versions. New features also include power folding rear seats, among other things. On the road, Yukon is smooth and stable in a straight line, hopeless in the corners and strong off the road.
