Overview
An all-new GMC Sierra was released as a 2014 model year and received a facelift in 2016. Exterior-wise, the styling carries pretty much the same DNA as the previous model but the new front fascia seems more imposing now. That is because they have added bigger headlights and a huge grille. GM consciously kept the design similar as, unlike the UAE where big pickup trucks are more of a statement, in the U.S. market it is a high volume seller among conservative buyers. A Z71 package is available which includes stronger shocks, front tow hooks and extra under-body protection. All All-Terrain model was introduced in 2017, with roll bars on the bed and losing the aerodynamic lip on the front bumper. The interior is where the main changes will be, with the new 4.2-inch display on the dashboard. More soft-touch material has been added around the cockpit.
