The unimaginatively-named Five Hundred full-size sedan is a capable new family performer that does what it's supposed to, and nothing extra. Based on a Volvo platform, this American model features the three-bar Ford grille, a massive well-appointed cabin and a standard 3.5-litre V6 engine with a 6-speed automatic. The standard model is front-wheel-drive, but all-wheel-drive is optional.
