2013 Ford Figo

The sub-compact Figo is Ford's newest and smallest offering in the GCC. Intended to be a cheaper motoring option than even the Fiesta, the Figo is built in India, based on a shortened older-generation Fiesta, and comes in 5-door hatchback form. It comes with a choice of 1.4-litre 4-cylinder with a manual gearbox and 1.6-litre 4-cylinder with an automatic. All cars get independent MacPherson strut front suspension and a semi-independent rear twist beam. The Figo is available in Ambiente and Trend trims, both getting cloth-upholstered interiors with features that include manual windows, power mirrors, 2-speaker CD/MP3 stereo with USB/AUX ports, power steering, fold-flat second-row seating, intermittent wipers, dual front airbags, soft-touch dashboard and a claimed "best-in-class" manual a/c. Also available on the higher model are 14-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, fog lamps, ABS brakes, front power windows and height-adjustable driver's seat.
