2008 Ford Expedition

The Expedition is a full-size 4WD that has yet to blaze a trail in the Middle East. It's smooth, stable and refined for the most part, and this new version goes head-to-head with Chevrolet's non-descript Tahoe for top honours among American 4WDs. Its four-wheel-independent suspension is unusually sophisticated in this class, providing better ride and handling, on-road and off. The Expedition comes with a 5.4-litre V8 engine mated to an automatic gearbox.
