2014 Chevrolet Corvette

The all-new Chevrolet Corvette debuted as a 2014 model year. It features a new LT1 V8 engine, but still has the same 6.2-litre displacement. Power has gone up however, with the new Corvette Stingray producing more horsepower and torque. More interesting is the 7-speed manual transmission it has, with rev-matching technology. For customers who don't like the third pedal, there is a 6-speed automatic transmission, the same gearbox as the previous generation, but tweaked with different internals for better performance. A new electric power steering system and cylinder deactivation help to improve fuel economy, said to be now less than the previous generation. There is a Drive Mode Selector which has 5 settings Weather, Eco, Tour, Sport and Track.
