Overview
The BMW M5 is the performance version of the 5-series and a new model debuted in late 2011 with a highly-tuned 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Standard equipment include head-Up display, multi-channel audio system, four-zone automatic air conditioning and BMW iDrive control. The M5 gets a unique body kit, hydraulic steering, and simpler sports suspension. The redesigned BMW 5-Series comes with a parking assistant, as well as active cruise control, surround view and rear view camera, lane departure warning, lane change warning and night vision with pedestrian recognition.
