The new-for-2012 BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe is essentially a 6-Series with four doors on a 5-Series platform. The 640i gets a turbocharged 3.0-litre 6-cylinder, mated to an 8-speed automatic with paddle-shifters. The 650i with the 4.4-litre turbocharged V8 and 8-speed auto came at the end of 2012. Some of the wide range of sophisticated driving and comfort features offered in the new BMW 6-Series include Dynamic Drive Control with four modes, namely comfort, normal, sport and sport +, as well as Comfort Start, Head-Up Display, Multi-Channel Audio System, Rear Seat Entertainment, Four-Zone Automatic Air Conditioning and BMW iDrive control. BMW ConnectedDrive also offers a unique range of driver-assist technology functions for enhanced comfort and safety.
