2014 Volkswagen Phaeton

Volkwagen's Phaeton is a luxury car for people who refuse to flaunt their wealth. If you can afford a hand-built luxury car but don't need to go around with a hood ornament to proclaim your arrival, then you may find that this expensive new VW more than meets your needs. Based on a platform shared with the Bentley Continental GT, the Phaeton received a minor facelift for 2012, incorporating LEDs both front and back. The VW Phaeton is available with two carryover engines, namely a 3.2-litre V6 and a 4.2-litre V8, while a 6.0-litre W12 is supposedly available on special order. All are mated to an automatic tiptronic transmission. Only the long wheelbase body style is sold in this region.
