2014 Volkswagen Golf

Available from early 2013, the "Mark 7" VW Golf may look the same, but is really completely new, the big news being several weight-saving enhancements that form the car. The two "TSI" engine choices are a 1.2-litre and a 1.4-litre, both turbocharged 4-cylinder units mated to 7-speed "DSG" automanual transmissions. All Golf models now have touchscreen systems as standard, starting with a 5.8-inch colour display and rising to the range-topping satellite navigation system with 8-inch colour display that operates with finger gestures. Features include CD/MP3 stereo, auxiliary inputs, Bluetooth telephone, multiple airbags, power windows, keyless entry and such, with optional features such as sunroof, smart keyless entry and start, 5.8-inch touchscreen, fog lamps and more.
