2020 Toyota Supra

The all-new Toyota Supra is a co-production with the unloved 2019 BMW Z4, sharing its platform, drivetrain and other bits with the German roadster. While it may never live down the stigma attached with potential German reliability, Toyota claims there are enough changes in the tuning and overall final product to differentiate the two cars substantially. Built in Austria by Magna-Steyr and powered by a turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-6 cylinder BMW engine, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, adaptive suspension with Normal and Sport driving modes will be standard. The new Supra is the smallest one out of all five generations, reduced to a two-seater with no back seat or not enough boot space. About the size of a Toyota 86, the Supra costs twice as much and competes with premium-badged German sports cars.
