Overview
The Toyota Prado got a second facelift in 2018. The "VVT-i" engine offerings include a 2.7-litre 4-cylinder and a 4.0-litre V6. In Saudi Arabia there is also a 3.0-litre turbocharged diesel V6 engine on offer. All models offer standard all-wheel-drive with low-range gearing and available locking centre-differential. All petrol engines get a 6-speed automatic transmission whereas the diesel motor is mated to a 5-speed automatic. The basic Prado 2.7L, known as TX in KSA and EXR in UAE, comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, front LED fog lamps, black front grille, black power mirrors and door handles, rear spoiler, side steps, mud guards, fabric seating for seven, front and rear manual a/c, CD/MP3 6-speaker stereo,rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD and brake-assist, dual front airbags and floor-mounted spare tyre, a cool box, steering audio controls, USB/AUX ports and Bluetooth.
