2026 Suzuki Jimny 5 Door

The crowd favourite in the region, the Suzuki Jimny, was launched recently with a 5-door version. The ladder-frame chassis is extended to produce a longer wheelbase of 2,590 mm.

While the 3-door Suzuki Jimny measures 3,395 mm long to comply with the Kei car regulations in Japan, the bigger offering grows it to 3,645 mm.

The Jimny is well-equipped for off-roading capabilities with its 1.5-litre 4-cylinder engine tuned to a high-torque 4WD system, and also has an option of 5-speed manual transmission or 4-speed automatic in its GL trim, while the GLX trim is only in 4-speed automatic.

The Jimny also has a 3-link rigid axle suspension with coil springs for extra support and traction.
