Overview
The smart #5 is a premium mid-size electric SUV and the largest vehicle in the brand's history. Measuring approximately 4.7 meters in length with a 2,900 mm wheelbase, it is designed to compete directly with rivals like the Tesla Model Y.
Performance and Range
The smart #5 is built on an advanced 800V high-voltage platform, which supports ultra-fast "4C" charging.
Battery Options: It is available with two battery sizes: a 76 kWh LFP battery (standard on the Pro trim) and a larger 100 kWh NCM battery for higher trims.
Charging: On the 100 kWh models, DC charging can reach up to 400 kW, allowing a 10% to 80% charge in just 18 minutes.
Range: The maximum official range reaches up to 590 km (WLTP) on long-range variants, though real-world testing in cold or high-speed conditions has shown lower results.
