2012 Seat Exeo

Considering the Seat range was made up exclusively of hatchbacks by 2010, the Exeo is a desperate attempt at expanding the line-up with an addition of a regular sedan. The VW accomplished this in the cheapest possible way by moving the tooling for their old pre-2008 A4 sedan to the Seat factory in Spain, and simply giving the car a frontal and rear facelift. The Audi connection is obvious on the rest of the car, and the standard engine for the GCC is the usual VW-sourced turbocharged 2.0-litre 4-cylinder, mated to a CVT transmission and front-wheel-drive. The five-seater sedan comes with power windows, electric mirrors, keyless entry, CD/MP3 stereo, alloy wheels and more. Available features include sunroof, cloth or leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic a/c, power-adjustable front seats and fog lamps, among other items. Standard safety features include ABS, traction control, stability control, front airbags, side and curtain airbags.
