The second-generation Peugeot 308 was released in 2014, but only went on sale in the GCC in 2015. The same is turbocharged 1.6-litre 4-cylinder engines carried over from the previous shape, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Even the most basic model gets driver & passenger airbags, ABS brakes with EBD, trip computer, AM/FM Radio with CD/MP3 player with remote stalk, speed-sensitive power steering, electric windows and mirrors, cooling vent inside the glove compartment, height-adjustable headlights, split-folding rear seats, remote key with central locking, and 15-inch wheels.
