Overview
The Nissan GT-R is a class-leading sports car built on Nissan's Premium Midship platform, and utilising carbon-fibre, aluminium and steel components. It gets the 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 "VR38" engine, mated with a dual-clutch automanual and all-wheel-drive. In 2015, it received minor facial changes and tweeks have been done to the suspension to improve handling, as well as comfort. A special Bilstein DampTronic system uses all pertinent vehicle information to provide appropriate damping forces for all situations and helps maintain a high level of control for straight-line driving, cornering, and braking. Structural stiffness, suspension and aerodynamics had all been upgraded for 2011. The shocks were upgraded again for 2012.
