2006 Maserati Quattroporte

The Quattroporte is Maserati's luxury sedan that joined the Maserati lineup in the 2005 model year. It can be had in many variants, including in Sport GT and Executive GT trims. All models have the 4.2-litre V8 engine that powers the Coupe and Spyder, and come with either a six-speed Cambiocorsa paddle-shifted automanual and, for the luxury model only, a true six-speed automatic. The standard Quattroporte model has all the usual power, safety and luxury trimmings, including premium audio and multiple airbags. The Sport GT adds a black chrome treatment to the grille and side air intakes, carbon-fibre steering wheel trim and hand-brake grip, and aluminium pedals. The exhaust has been tuned to provide a deeper rumble, and other changes include uprated suspension, better brakes and a re-engineered gearbox for sportier shifts.
