The SC 430 switches from luxury hardtop coupe to open roadster at the touch of a button. Dropping the power hardtop turns it into a true convertible, but the SC is far from a sporting vehicle. Its exterior and interior were freshened for 2006. This rear-wheel drive car is powered by a 4.3-litre V8 engine mated to a new six-speed automatic transmission and soft comfort-biased suspension. It comes as one model that features a power retractable hardtop, soft leather with wood and chrome accents, a navigation system and a Mark Levinson audio with nine speakers, 6-CD changer, a/c system that auto-adjusts temperature for top-up and top-down, eight-way power adjustable front seats with memory function, power door mirrors, Bluetooth mobile phone, HID headlamps with adaptive front-lighting system and auto-leveling system, LED tail lamps, rear spoiler, front and rear corner sensors, and 18-inch aluminium wheels.
