2008 Lamborghini Murcielago

The Murcielago, named after a famous matador, is the truest of the current Lamborghinis, with traditional scissor doors and a massive V12 engine sitting between the front and rear wheels. It was also the first Lamborghini to be developed under new parent Audi, and is available in a hard-top coupe and a soft-top Roadster trim. The upgraded LP640 model with a larger 6.5-litre V12, with a unique body kit and more power, is the only version on sale now. Power is fed to the all-wheel-drive system through a standard six-speed manual or an optional E-gear sequential manual transmission on all versions. High-tech features include active spoilers and air intakes that adjust according to speed, while the suspension can be adjusted for ride height to clear bumpy roads.
