From 2014, the Infinti FX model became the QX70 to follow the Japanese brand's new naming structure, but has since remained unchanged. The QX70 is available in four trim levels and two different engines. The Excellence, Luxury and Elite Sport get a 3.7-litre V6 engine, while the Luxury Sport variant gets the 5.0-litre V8, with both engines mated to 7-speed automatic transmissions. Built on the all-wheel-drive front-midship platform, the the QX70 features an extensive list of available equipment. Available features include Continuous Damping Control, Rear Active Steer, and 21-inch lightweight aluminium-alloy wheels designed by Enkei. Inside, the interior has available "sport" seating and advanced audio, optional navigation and technology ranging from an 11-speaker Bose-developed audio system to the intelligent key, available active cruise control and available around-view monitor system.
