2011 Infiniti QX56

The new-for-2011 Infiniti QX56 full-size luxury SUV, in its 2nd-generation, is now based on the Nissan Patrol. The exterior gives away its Nissan origins, save for unique front and rear ends, as well as some trim bits. The QX comes with a 5.6-litre V8 engine with 'VVEL' variable valve timing and 'DIG' direct injection, mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel-drive. A new 'Hydraulic Body Motion Control' system is available, which also includes optional 22-inch wheels and a number of other features. The 2011 QX also offers three-row seating, in a 7-seater or 8-seater configuration, with a reclining 3rd row.
