Overview
An all-new Hyundai Genesis sedan debuts in early 2014 as a 2015 model year. It is slightly longer and taller than the previous generation. The Genesis can be had with a choice of either a 3.8-litre V6 or 5.0-litre V8. Both engines are mated to a Hyundai-designed 8-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel-drive is standard in both models. An "Intelligent Drive Mode" system offers Normal, Eco, Sport and Snow settings that alter transmission mapping, throttle responsiveness, stability control to suit driving conditions. The Genesis V8 can be optioned with an adaptive damping suspension that promises both sportier roadholding and a cushier ride. It, too, can be controlled by Intelligent Drive Mode. The Genesis 3.8 is fitted as standard with leather upholstery, 12-way power-adjustable front seats, a navigation system with an 8.0-inch screen, a seven-speaker AM/FM/CD radio stereo with AUX and USB input jacks, auto on/off headlight, LED headlight accents, LED taillights, rain-sensing...
