Overview
The tenth-generation Honda Civic looks to have gone more upmarket, with LED daytime running lights and taillights given as standard, and LED headlights offered as an option. The new body is also said to be more rigid, thanks to the use of ultra-high strength steel. First released in the GCC in 2016, this generation Civic is not only bigger, but 31 kg lighter than the previous generation as well. It is pretty much the same for the 2018 model year. The interior also has been upgraded with better fit and finish, while the increase in overall size has helped improve legroom and trunk capacity. Three engines are on offer in the GCC, a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder, a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder and the top-spec turbocharged 1.5-litre 4-cylinder unit.
