2012 Ford Focus

Completely revamped for the 2012 model year, the Ford Focus now becomes the best compact car available in the GCC, if a tad higher-priced than some competitors. That's because it offers optional tech features that no other player has. Available in sedan, station-wagon and hatchback forms, the latter 5-door is being pitched as a high-end model. There is a base 1.6-litre 4-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch automanual, available in the "Ambiente" and "Trend" trim levels. In fact, the sedan and the wagon will only be available in the basic "Ambiente" trim level alongside the hatchback. The hatchback can be had in all trim levels, including "Trend", "Sport" and "Titanium" editions. Only the "Sport" and the "Titanium" get the 2.0-litre direct-injected 4-cylinder "GDI" engine, mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch automanual.
