2005 Daihatsu YRV

The YRV has been billed as a young and innovative car, posing as a direct rival to models in a niche that no one wants to deal with. It's cheap to own, easy to drive and offers a similar package to the Toyota Yaris hatchback, with which it shares an engine, all for a cheaper price. The car has adequate space for two adults in the front, while the back may accomodate two adults in tight settings, or maybe three kids comfortably. The car is a comfortable cruiser on long journeys, although it will lose this advantage when the roads get slightly bumpy. The 1.3-litre 4-cylinder, with the manual or auto, lacks power for swift overtaking manouevres, but is fine for town traffic driving, as it is exceptionally light and easy to handle, paticularly when parking. Features include a radio cassette player, power windows, central locking, rear foldable seat, 14-inch steel wheels and not much else.
