2010 Chevrolet Malibu

The Malibu nameplate returns to the GCC for 2010, after almost a decade, although it wasn't missed at all. Unlike its predecessor however, the new Malibu is a highly-competitive entry in the midsize sedan segment, with a clean-sheet design and good features. The new Malibu is a mainstream front-wheel-drive sedan, but aims slightly higher with its chrome trimmings and colourful interior options. Powered by either a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder or a 3.6-litre V6, both are available with a 6-speed automatic offering manual-shift capabilities. Unique features for this segment include standard 18-inch wheels, optional two-tone interior colour schemes, and lots of extra noise-reducing features that make the Malibu's cabin quieter than most.
