Overview
The Cadillac CTS got a redesign for the 2014 model year. External changes for 2018 are limited to new paint colours. The base engine is now a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, coupled with 6-speed automatic transmission. The 3.6-litre V6 is still there, with a new 8-speed automatic. A new CTS VSport variant joins the lineup later, with a twin turbocharged 3.6-litre V6, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Standard features for the real-wheel-drive CTS include power windows, power mirrors, LED headlights and tail lamps and fog lamps. Available equipment include Cadillac's updated CUE 3 entertainment system with 10 BOSE speakers, magnetic ride control, 18-inch alloy wheels and adaptive forward lighting. Safety features include ABS and traction control, sensors to warn driver of potential dangers, safety seat alert which sends immediate impulse through the seat cushion from the direction of the potential hazard.
