2013 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport

The Veyron 16.4 was a long-running pet project by Volkswagen to create the fastest production car in the world at the time, reintroducing the Bugatti badge in style. Goofy looks notwithstanding, the styling is an essential part of the design to ensure total stability at top speed. In 2009, a removable roof model was added to the lineup, called the Veyron Grand Sport. The car is powered by an 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 engine derived from Volkswagen designs, mated to all-wheel-drive and a seven-speed direct-shift automanual gearbox. The fully customisable interior is covered in leather and metal, with numerous features such as CD stereo, navigation and more. The single-piece carbon-fibre monocoque does well in crash tests, while airbags give the driver and passenger additional protection.
