2018 Brilliance FSV

The Brilliance FSV, also known as the BS2 elsewhere, is a Chinese compact sedan that's built on technology partnerships from companies such as BMW and Toyota, with a Mitsubishi-design powertrain. Even the simplistic platform with independent-front torsion beam-rear suspension is said to be Lotus-tuned, while Italdesign Giugiaro had a hand in the styling. Available with a single 1.5-litre 4-cylinder "MIVEC" engine mated to a 4-speed automatic, the front-wheel-drive 5-seater is fairly class-competitive. Features in the base "Comfortable" trim level include 15-inch steel wheels with hubcaps, front disc and rear drum brakes, power windows, tilt-adjustable power steering, speed-sensitive central locking, manual a/c, CD/MP3 stereo, fabric upholstery, split-folding rear seats and a single rear foglamp.
