Overview
The sixth generation BMW 5-series received a facelift for the 2014 model year. The 520i gets a turbocharged 2.0-litre 4-cylinder and 8-speed auto. The 535i has a turbocharged 3.0-litre 6-cylinder, mated to an 8-speed automatic with paddle-shifters. A 528i model gets a turbocharged 2.0-litre 4-cylinder. The 550i with the 4.4-litre turbocharged V8 and 8-speed auto has been upgraded with more power and torque. Some of the wide range of sophisticated driving and comfort features offered in the new BMW 5-Series include Dynamic Drive Control with four modes, namely comfort, normal, sport and sport+, as well as Comfort Start, Head-Up Display, Multi-Channel Audio System, Rear Seat Entertainment, Four-Zone Automatic Air Conditioning and BMW iDrive control.
