Overview
An all-new generation Volvo XC90 debuted in the middle of 2015. Under the hood, there are two 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine options, the base engine being the turbocharged T5 unit, while the more powerful model gets a turbocharged and supercharged T6 motor. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The base engine is called the T5 and and the more powerful motor is known as the T6. Introduced in 2019, was the the hybrid model called the T8, which combines the T6 unit with an electric motor.
