2012 Subaru Legacy

The Legacy is the fifth-generation model of Subaru's midsize all-wheel-drive sedan. Like all Subaru models for more than a decade, the Legacy is available only with all-wheel-drive, and gets an entirely new design for 2010, featuring a larger body and carryover engines. Not all engine choices are offered in all countries however. The base Legacy 2.0R comes with a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder while the Legacy 2.5i comes with a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder, both boxer engines mated with a CVT automatic. The top model is the 2.5 GT, with a turbocharged 2.5-litre 4-cylinder boxer engine mated to a paddle-shifted 5-speed automatic, and externally identified by its bonnet scoop. By 2012, the 2.0R was discontinued, leaving the 2.5i and the GT. Base models get power windows, electric mirrors, ABS, front and side-curtain airbags, cloth upholstery, 16-inch wheels and a CD stereo.
