2026 Porsche Taycan

Porsche released the all-new Porsche Taycan in 2020. It is their first all-electric only model in the lineup. Initially released in only a higher 4S trim, a base model Taycan made its debut in 2021. Later on, a GTS trim joined the lineup. From 2025 onwards, they received upgraded batteries. There were two battery options: the "Performance" 89 kWh battery and the "Performance Plus" battery, which offered more range.

Power comes via two synchronous motors, one mounted on each axle, making the four-door saloon an all-wheel drive. It gets the world’s first two-speed transmission in an EV, installed on the rear axle. The Taycan is paired with variable torque distribution and Porsche Traction Management (PTM).

Safety features include the usual cocoon of airbags, electronic stability control and ABS. ADAS 2nd level is also available in all models.
