Overview
The Porsche Cayenne gets a minor facelift and engine upgrades for 2015. The variants available are the Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne GTS, Cayenne Turbo, Cayenne Turbo S, Cayenne Diesel, Cayenne S Diesel and, for the first time, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid, the first plug-in hybrid in the premium SUV segment. All new models get a slight boost in performance and reduced fuel economy numbers. The new models get a new front fascia, similar to the design of the Porsche Macan, as well as new taillamps and exhaust pipes. The entry-level Cayenne gets a 3.6-litre V6 engine. The Cayenne S and Cayenne GTS gets a new 3.6-litre turbo V6, while the Cayenne Turbo gets a 4.8-litre turbo V8. The hybrid and diesel models will be available only on special-order. The Cayenne S E-Hybrid has a lithium-ion traction battery with an all-electric driving range of 18 to 36 km.
