2009 Opel Antara

The first ever Opel-badged compact 4WD isn't even a real Opel. The Antara is a Korean product built at the Daewoo factory, and also sold in the GCC as a GMC Terrain. However, it does complete the dying Opel range, giving dealers their very own small soft-roader. Unlike the Terrain, the Antara is available with only one engine, namely a 3.2-litre V6 with a standard 5-speed automatic transmission offering basic manual-shift capability. All-wheel-drive is standard, but there is no low-range gearing. The Antara seats five and does not offer third-row seating. However, the rear seat folds flat to extend the cargo area.
