2009 Lincoln MKX

The Canadian-built MKX is the Lincoln-badged version of the Ford Edge, an all-new soft-roader that debuted for the 2007 model year. The Edge features a car-derived platform, a raked windshield, a fast-sloping back window, a high-mounted rear spoiler, a high beltline and standard 18-inch alloy wheels. The interior features seating for five and cargo space can be maximized when the rear seats are folded. The Edge is powered by a new 3.5-liter V6 mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Available with an intelligent all-wheel-drive system in the GCC, the MKX is not equipped with low-range gearing.
