2012 Lexus LFA

The LFA is the Lexus brand's "halo" model, serving more as a publicity stunt for their potential engineering prowess rather than an actual profitable product. Production of the LFA is limited to 500 units worldwide, with only a handful making it to the GCC, and purchase is by invitation only. The LFA, available only in coupe form for now, is powered by a 4.8-litre V10 with a 9000 rpm redline. It is mated to a 6-speed sequential automanual gearbox and a rear-wheel-drive platform with limited-slip differential. The LFA has a 48:52 front-to-rear weight distribution, and a 65% carbon-fibre body. It comes with 20-inch BBS alloy wheels, Brembo six-piston front and four-piston rear brakes, launch control, 3-mode stability control with sport mode and a speed-sensitive rear wing.
