The Kia EV5 is a fully electric compact crossover SUV positioned as a practical, family-friendly alternative to the Kia Sportage. The EV5 is available with two battery options. The Standard Range variant uses a 64.2 kWh battery, while Long Range models are equipped with a larger 88.1 kWh pack. Depending on specification, the EV5 delivers up to 555 km of range (WLTP) for Long Range versions, while Standard Range models offer around 400 km.
Single-motor front-wheel-drive variants produce 214 hp, providing smooth and adequate performance for daily commuting. Dual-motor all-wheel-drive versions increase output to 308 hp, delivering stronger acceleration and added traction for highway driving and varying road conditions.
