Overview
The first to adopt Infiniti's new naming system, the Q50 replaces the G25 and G37 model. A complete new design, the Q50 does not disappoint in the looks department. It now has the signature Infiniti "double arch" grille, along with the horizontal headlights and taillights. The Q50 is also longer, wider and sits lower than the outgoing G. As for the interior, it now has the Infiniti's new InTouch system a touch screen which displays information and navigation. Owners will also be able to download, update and synch personal apps through their smartphones and USB drives. As per the new naming system, the numbers in model names don't designate the engine capacity any more. The same engine is carried over from the Infiniti G37 in the Q50, the 3.7-litre V6, which is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission.
