The Hyundai Kona is a sub-compact crossover with no offroad abilities whatsoever, although it sports black plastic cladding and half-baked roof rails to imitate it. In 2021, a facelift model debuted in the UAE & GCC. Powered by either a 2.0-litre with a 6-speed automatic or a turbocharged 1.6-litre with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, both 4-cylinder and with either front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive, the Kona seems to rival the company's own Creta crossover.
