Overview
The Fiat 500L Trekking is the only trim level offered here in the GCC. The design is based on the Fiat 500 and the L stands for large. It gets a 4-cylinder 1.4-litre turbocharged unit under the hood, mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Standard features include power steering, power mirrors, keyless entry, central-locking, cruise control, 17-inch alloy wheels, two-tone interior, steering-wheel mounted audio controls, entertainment system with touchscreen and Bluetooth connectivity. Safety standards are high as expected, which include electronic stability control (ESP), traction control, hill start assist, tyre pressure monitor, electronic brake-force distribution (EBD) and four-wheel disc antilock brakes with brake assist. Also the 500L gets front and side airbags, along with driver's knee blocker airbag.
