Overview
The Cadillac XTS debuted in late 2012 as a new flagship, replacing the STS as well as the DTS. By 2018, the XTS became a budget alternative to the CT6 that is selling well in some markets, so Cadillac has updated it with new front and rear designs, an updated infotainment system and more comfortable seats. Based on a front-wheel-drive Chevrolet platform, the XTS is powered by a 3.6-litre direct-injection V6, mated to a 6-speed automatic and all-wheel-drive. It comes with a electronically-controlled limited-slip differential, adjustable suspension and Brembo brakes, with standard 20-inch wheels. For 2014, a V-Sport model with a turbocharged 3.6-litre V6 and all-wheel-drive joined the range.
