Overview
The X6 M debuted in late 2009, with a higher-tuned turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 than the regular X6. The M has a 6-speed auto with proper paddle-shifters. Features include iPod / USB adapter interface, Active Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Lane Departure Warning, Active Steering, running boards, Head-Up Display, 4-zone automatic climate control, side-view cameras, top-view camera, leather-covered dashboard, full keyless entry, and smartphone integration. The M gets 20-inch wheels with performance tyres, Adaptive Drive system, M door sill plates, M driver footrest, M steering wheel and M aerodynamic enhancements. It also gets features such as sports suspension, 'M' driving mode, paddle-shifted quicker-response automatic, launch control and a body kit.
