Overview
An all-new model of the BMW X5 came out in 2019. It is longer, wider, and higher than the outgoing model. The same engines are carried over but have been updated for more power. This includes the 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-6 cylinder unit and 4.4-litre V8 turbo motor. Both are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Standard equipment in the 2026 BMW X5 includes power steering, power windows, keyless entry, push engine start stop button, leather seats, four-zone climate control, iDrive, LED headlights, wireless charging, and 19-inch alloy rims. Other options include cooled and heated cup holders, a panoramic sunroof with LED light patterns, up to 21-inch alloy rims, and laser headlights. An off-road package adds selectable off-road driving modes and adjusts the ride height, acceleration and transmission response, and traction control system.
