2015 BMW 1 Series

The 1-Series is the smallest range in BMW's line-up. Completely redesigned for 2012, it remains the only vehicle in its class featuring rear-wheel-drive and is offered in the GCC as a 5-door hatchback alongside the older-generation 1-Series coupe and convertible that carried on into the 2012 model year. Petrol versions now include the 1.6-litre 116i, the 2.0-litre 118i and the turbocharged 2.0-litre 125i, although all models are not offered in all GCC markets. All models come with a choice of 6-speed transmissions, both manual or automatic, although only the automatic version is offered here. An M 135i model was offered from 2013, in 5-door form, with a 3.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder and a choice of 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic.
