The Alfa Romeo Mito is the smallest and newest member of this Italian clan of unloved cars, slotting into the sub-compact category with sporting pretensions and a high price. Available only in 3-door form, the Mito comes with a turbocharged 1.4-litre 4-cylinder, mated to only a manual gearbox. The interior can be optioned up with automatic a/c, power windows, electric mirrors, CD stereo, leather upholstery, aluminium pedals and more. Other available features include alloy wheels, LED tail lamps and HID headlights, among others. Safety features include stability control, front-side airbags, window airbags and a driver's knee airbag. Not much else is known about GCC-spec offerings, considering local dealers do not put much effort into marketing this Italian nameplate.
